Art critic

Starry Night over the Rhone is what this painting is called. Van Gogh is the creator of this artwork. Oil was used to create this painting. This artwork was finished September 1888.  Navy blue and black were the colors that was used to create this piece. The stars in the painting added flash to the piece because of how bright the colors are. The bright lights reflect onto the water bringing more attention to the water.
The artist is trying to show beauty and relaxation. Two people next to a lake watching the stars and listening too the sounds of the water.
The artwork is put together very well. Corresponding colors and everything are equal. I think this is a very relatable picture because I would love to goon a date here and do this.
This painting is full of repetition. This painting has much of the same colors used repeatedly but for different things. Something that intrigued me while looking at this painting was the lines used to separate the water and sky.
